Transition Service Hardware Requirements

Hardware should meet or exceed the below specifications. Once hardware is provisioned, there are a few basic Server preparation tasks before Cypher IT or your distributor can perform installation.

Transition Service Listeners

The below hardware will be used to receive migrated data from the DAS system. We recommend 1 of these machines per DAS that the migration will be run against. That means if 2 DAS' are to be used then we will require two machines with the below specification. These machines can be Virtual machines if required.

Please note that the specifications listed below are minimum specifications, better hardware could result in higher throughput of the migration.

1st Hard Drive	120GB minimum
Redundancy	RAID-1
Additional Hard Drives	Optional

Note: For PACS Transition Service (TS), in addition to the TS listener servers above, a CDMTool Management Server should also be provisioned. Also, exoPACS VNA is often ordered as part of the PACS Transition Service, so please provision that as required.
