Use Cases

For a tailored explanation of how to simplify your workflow, increase productivity, and enable genuine cash-releasing savings, please select the use-case below that best suits you:

    • Vendor Neutral Archive: Consolidate storage and save money by running exoPACS on your SAN/NAS architecture instead of expensive main PACS storage.  PAS/EPR event listener to keep demographics up to date and pre-fetch studies into main PACS.
  • External Image Viewing: for health community sharing, for example delivering imaging PCT-wide, to out-reach clinics, and to primary care, GPs, dentists, as well as for worldwide clinical trials.
  • Internal Image Viewing: for off-PACS viewing so you can save main PACS storage costs, as well as reducing the admin overhead with RIS registrations. For example image viewing where the patient is not admitted such as running MDT meetings, providing second opinions, and image review informing decisions to admit the patient.

Standards and Openness

exoPACS is truly vendor neutral. Cypher IT have always had an open approach, allowing our customers unencumbered access to their own system and data. The reason we don’t restrict access is because our approach is to earn income by solving problems and adding value; we are a healthcare software company rather than a service or man-days company. Because of this we empower our customers to administer their own system and their own data.

Modular

We designed exoPACS right from the start to be modular. This allows even the smallest department to purchase only the key elements that they need, allowing cost and complexity to be reduced compared to traditional PACS systems.
